In the first five months of 2015, the Sava Turizem Group has noted the record high results. The Group generated revenues of 23.7 million, which was a 5% improvement on the results achieved in the same period last year. It increased performance and generated an operating profit (EBIT) of 169 thousand euros – a positive result in low season for the first time since 2010. The achieved EBITDA amounts to slightly more than €3 million and is by 57% (or €1.1 million) higher than last year.
In the hotels and apartments of Sava Turizem 108,506 overnight stays were made, or 10.0% more than in the period January–May 2014, while 19,060 guests stayed in the campsite, which was an 8.3% increase on the same period last year. Overall, 127,566 guests stayed at Sava Turizem in the period January–May 2015, or 11,281 more than in the same period 2014, representing a 9.7% growth with regard to 2014.
In the Pannonian Spas, 237 thousand overnight stays were made, or 7.6% more than in the same period last year, meaning that the market share increased to 28.2%. At destination Sava Hoteli Bled, 69 thousand overnight stays were made, representing a 2.5% increase, while the realised price improved by slightly more than 1%. In accordance with the adopted strategy, the health business showed positive trends: overnight stays increased by 18% if compared to last year, services provided to private patients increased by 10.3% in the daughter company, and concession services in the cardiology field were also partly increased.
